Catherine Bell, a tall and athletic actor was born in London, England. However she emigrated to Los Angeles, California with her mother when she was just a teenager. She dropped out of college in order to pursue her career as a model in Japan despite her intention to pursue a premed degree in college. After appearing in a few commercials she came back in L.A. and did some minor shooting. Isabella Rosellini hired her in 1992 as her bare body double. In the filming of the show, Death Becomes Her she got to know Adam Deason (her future husband). She wrote a note to the makers of JAG, the NBC show JAG after a brief guest appearance. JAG changed its location in 1996 and was transferred to CBS which she joined in 1996. She was named Lieutenant. commander Harmon "Harm" Rabb (David James Elliott). The real-life experience she gained as a professional kickboxer, snowboarder and MMA fighter have led her to perform physically challenging characters in action films such as Men of War Crash Dive and Black Thunder.
