Summer Bishil

Summer Bishil is an American actress who is best known in her role of Margo Hanson on the Syfy television series of fantasy dramas 'The Magicians' (2015-present). She was previously the Lebanese American teenager, Jasira Maoun (13 years old) and who is living turmoil in the backdrop of U.S. invasion of Iraq in the Gulf War, in Alan Ball's film "Towelhead" that earned her fame. Her character was chosen in 2007 as a 'Variety 10 Actors to Watch'. She portrayed a powerful character, Taslima Jahangir, in the 2009 film 'Crossing Over', a crime-drama "Crossing Over", for which she received a nomination for the Independent Spirit Award in the 'Best Female Lead' category.
