Lita Rossana Ford often referred to as Lita Ford is a British American singer-songwriter, guitarist and vocalist who played lead guitar of the all-girl rock band The Runaways in the late 1970s.Their punkish sound and rebellious lyrics helped them get noticed throughout the world of rock. The band was never able to the group to be an instant hit in the United States, however they did gain a fair amount of acclaim in other nations particularly Japan.
