Pickler, who was born Kellie Dawn Pickler in June of 1986, went through an unhappy childhood. When she was only two, her mother abandoned her to escape from the abusive marriage. She came back into Pickler's life in 1995 and took custody of her. However, it wasn't as planned. Pickler was then 12 years old and was remanded to her parents by the court. They raised her until she reached adulthood. Pickler could not be a parent to her kids in the absence of their parents. Pickler admitted that she was no longer able to study and started learning how to make a living as a homemaker from a very young age.
