Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise is a popular American author, performer and actress well known for her character Ginger Grant in the 1960s television show Gilligan's Island. In the 1950s she began her professional career as an actor on stage with Bettle Davis' musical Two's Company. Thereafter she acted in numerous Broadway productions until she made it big on the national theatre area with Li'l abner's in 1957. In the year 1957, she released her debut music album called It's time for Tina. Louise was the first to make her debut in Hollywood playing Griselda Walden in God's little Acre, a film about drama that was released in 1958.The movie received wide acclaim and Louise won her Golden Globe Award in the New Star of the Year category. When she was an undergraduate of Lee Strasberg, she attended the Actors Studio New York. Another notable character she portrayed in the role of Ginger Grant, which CBS was the first to sign her on with in 1964. Louise Balfour continued to successfully play between Broadway as well as Hollywood portraying somber character as against her famous image as the glamorous model. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. SG-1, and Helen Magnus on Sanctuary. In the last few years she's also been the most sought-after director for popular TV series like Supernatural or The 100. The family she was born into moved to Essex to Toronto, where she spent childhood and adolescence. Samantha Carter settled in Vancouver, Canada after her selection for the lead role.
