Ali MacGraw

Ali MacGraw, also known as Elizabeth Alice MacGraw, is an American designer and author who has won numerous awards for her works. She is a proponent of human rights for animals. The actress has won praise for films like Love Story (from 1970), Goodbye Columbus, (1969), and The Getaway, (1972). New York was her home and she grew up in an environment that was artistic. She began working as a photographer's assistant, and then turned to acting and modeling. In her first two films her name was acknowledged as a winner of the Golden Globe Award as Most Promising Young Actress. MacGraw became an international star after her 1970 movie Love Story, which earned an Academy Award nomination as well as an award from the Golden Globe. Within three years MacGraw was ranked as the most popular female box-office starter in the whole world. The Grauman's Chinese Theater engraved her autograph as well as foot prints, hand prints, and footprints in 1972. The other films she's appeared in are The Getaway Convoy Players as well as the TV miniseries The Winds of War. Moving Pictures is her autobiography released in 1991. MacGraw was married three times.
