Sara Ramirez

Sara Ramirez (born Sara Ramirez) is a Mexican American singer-songwriter and popular actress. Sara Ramirez was brought up by an American mother, and was subjected to a variety of racist taunts, which led her to feel unwelcome. It was during her ninth year that she started to feel more confident following her acclaim during an audition. The singer not only gained confidence through the audition, but she also changed plans for her career. When she was 22 she was a graduate of New York's Julliard School. In the year 23 she began her career making her debut at the Broadway in Paul Simon's The Capeman and in films with You've Got Mail. Her biggest breakthrough was when she played the character in the role of The Lady of The Lake in the very first Broadway show Spamalot winning not just her the Tony Award for her performance but also a flurry of praise from critics. Later that year, as Callie Torres on Grey's Anatomy for ABC her role was given greater appreciation. As a professional singer She has also recorded songs as well as an extended piece. She is an activist who strives in the cause of LGBT equality.
